I've been working on a screenshot program for a while. I wanted something in between the simplicity of [print screen] and the complexity of some sort of professional software. Here are a few screenshots(taken with the program, lawl) that show the GUI. I'm pretty poor at designing GUIs, so any help would be appreciated.

Note, in the second picture the "hide" box was selected.

The small timer allows me to have a certain duration set until it will take a screenshot and hide shows/hides the program itself. Download link:
first off.. it works and it's cool. The GUI is clean simple and that's a good thing. It opened a little bit too small for me, though. Featurewise it would be cool if you could select only a portion of the screen. margin left, right, top, bottom for example
None taken. You could have interogated it for all I care, lawl. =P Free is nice. Yes, I could make that option; I just chose png files because they seemed the most functional and easy to work with. What other file types would be most helpful? Jpegs?
It would be both fun and useful if you could make it so that it overrides the print screen button so that while it is pressed, you can drag a rectangle from an upper left to a bottom right corner and it would then pop up the window with the snapshot of that area, asking you if you want to save, store in clipboard, etc. Otherwise, if the button is released with no mouse drags, it stores the current full state of the screen and pops up the same window. Does that sound tough? I've never tried programming it (haven't had the time to move on to intermediate or professional c++ or c# learning yet, and I know none of the libraries or .net), but I always wanted to.
If it supports full screen applications like games (and possibly even overrides steam's override of print screen :P), it would be the best screenshot program in the world.
I could try that, I'm still trying to make it similar to snipping tools, which is harder than I expected. >.< I also don't know how "steam's override of printscreen" works, so I would need some help in understanding that. :/ I don't play many games. Moon tycoon FTW! :D
