School and everyday laptop under $700 CAD

So as the header suggests i am looking for a laptop for school and everyday use and a tiny bit of very light gaming
but the cap is $700 and under (less than $700 would be better because i'm kinda strapped for cash atm)

battery life dosent look that bed either which seems to be a big issue on most that ive seen

Used thinkpad T430s.

its what I have, its amazing.

Think pads are easy to repair imo and way more durable (fact).
Think pads power cord durability is also far superior on average to its competitors.
Take into account how rough you are with the laptop. The Lenovo can a take a beating that might break a consumer level Dell

you can find T430s for about $600 or less cad now, I got mine for $600 cad 2 years ago. and they're durrable as hell, I've smashed mine to peices and put it back together no problem
