Sc-5250 5.1 Surround Sound Card?

Could anyone tell me anything about this particular sound card?

I found it in an old rig and really have no idea what makes a good sound card, or even if this is a good card. Also would it be worth putting into a working computer over just using the crappy integrated realtek hd audio that every motherboard manufacturer seems to throw onto their board's.

its C-Media based from a quick google search only thing i found was various threads on hydrogenaudio forums

should be able to use drivers from C-Media

Thank you. I suppose i'll just put it in my computer and listen for a difference in audio quality.
