Sapphire R9 270X with 475W PSU and 4-pin connection

I am endeavoring to build my own gaming PC. Knowing that thin sometimes arrive DOA i only have some pieces right now and am saving up for now until i get everything else at one time. For now i have a case that came with a 475W PSU and a GPU.

I am confused slightly about the placement of components. Well i know one socket from another, but the PSU that came with it doesn't necessarily meet the 500W minimum and only has one 4-pin power connector. I am wondering if it will affect my performance and/or be dangerous to my computer. Thanks for any response guys. Peace out.

A 4 pin connector probably wont even fit in the gpu power connector, and the GPU will need to have the 6/8 pin PCI-E power connector plugged in, if its not the GPU wont even turn on or at worst you could burn out both the power supply and the motherboard

thanks. just for more information it has two 6-pin ports

Idk... if you don't have adapters then you need a new psu. 475w is enough to run the gpu but your psu just doesn't have the connectors.
