(For those who don't know, there are also RAM Caching softwares out there, which can deliver up to 700,000 IOPS. And that was years ago. I don't have a good memory on current-gen RAM Caching technologies, sorry guys. I did write an article about it a few months ago, so maybe I'll link it here eventually...)
