Samsung to pay Apple 1billion dollars?

So anyone who watches Tek Syndicate show knows about Apple and there fight over Samsung with there shapes..

So watching NCIX this morning i herd that Samsung has to pay Apple 1 Billion Dollars.. 

A jury ruled that Samsung has infringed on Apples patents and not just the shapes...

I dont agree Apple should be allowed to exploit this patent law, i say IBM come and crush them :)

Im sure logan or someone will have more details on this later!

You can read alot about it at theverge.com, they did a great coverage of this.

It's not just shapes.

Apple are suckers for doing the whole thing, but what really needs focus in this case is the patent system. Not Samsung or Apple and their pocket change.

Now kids.. Android AOSP is where the fun's at. Not OEM versions.

There was a forum post somewhere here in the past days that had a disccussion about it. They even had a link to the original article.

The whole patent law is kinda screwed up. They should probably have a rethinking of this.
