Samsung 840 for OS

Going to build a PC with a SSD as the primary drive, noticed that I can get a 128gb drive for £60. But the write speed is 150mb/s compared to 550mb/s of the 840 pro... If the drive is purely for the OS will I notice the difference? Money isn't a problem but if I can save a few notes I will do so

Thanks in advance!

If its just for the os the read speeds are more important than wrigh speeds (£60 is realy cheap for a 120gb hdd)

If you what something a little faster there is the 120gb SanDisk Pulse Read 490MB/s, Write 350MB/s, 8000 IOPS MLC-Flash.

For £68 on scan.co.uk

Both are realy cheap for ssd's in the uk

the samsung 840 pro 128GB has 530MB/s read and 390MB/s write. and will cost more then 60 pounds.

The normal samsung 840 128GB has much lower write speads. arround 150mb/s or so.

the samsung pro SSDs are one of the fastest ssd's to get.
