Allow seamless integration with the Host desktop environment with VGA PCI passthrough, with near zero latency allowing not just office usage, but high rate of input (ie, FPS games) to be playable without input lag, or loss of video quality.

Quick clarification, gnif – is there a difference between AM4 and TR4 (threadripper)? I’m looking to build a TR4 system, and got the impression on another thread that there are issues specific to TR4.

Also, does the video card matter (wanted an nVidia 1070/1080, but some posts suggest only Vega works)?

For the most part no, TR however has a bug with restarting the VM though which I hope to fix if I can get a TR platform to develop on.

I am using a nVidia 1080, you just have to ensure you hide kvm from the guest so the driver will start, just google this there are plenty of resources on how to do this with KVM.
