It actually isn't. Look at the arrow on the board and the chip.
Compared to the super sensitive angled pins in the Intel sockets though I still love these.
Agreed, This CPU is orientated incorrectly. Didn't have a single issue with my 1800X when inserting it. Plus it was definitely not orientated like that
I was not trolling. As you can see and as @Novasty I have arranged both triangles correctly. After straightening my pins as mentioned above I was able to insert the CPU into the socket and my PC works without any issues. Unless Ryzen CPUs don't care which way they are oriented, I certainly have inserted it in the right way.
Triangle is in the corner opposite the hinge-arm corner. It's also silkscreened onto the board. Take another look at the photos, OP's alright. And it boots…
