Ryzen 3600g with viii windows 7 passthru

#1

I’m looking at replacing my old has well based xeon with a new ryzen 3600g and a radeon 3000 series dgpu. What I would like to know, instead of having 2 dgpu’s, can I use the igpu for Linux and the pass thru the dgpu to a Windows vm.

There should be no reason you could not do that. but without having any info on 3600g as its not a product that is out yet, kinda hard to say anything for sure.

Yeah. It’s just a thought. Should I add an9ther dgpu to my xeon system, or should I just nuke and pave.

you probably want to look into seabios and the governor patch if you’re dead set on using windows 7

also x-gpu stubbing
