Ryzen 1700 costs the same as 1700x. Is there a reason not to get 1700x?

in the UK the 1800X can be cheaper than the 1700 & 1700X - if it is like in other places have a look around

No, their last heatsink review is from November 2017. Maybe they’ve gone under? Can’t be, they’re still posting updates. Maybe they’re having trouble acquiring new testing equipment.

Made a decision, built the build. They were priced the same where I bought from but I wasn’t going to use the stock cooler so I got the 1700x.
