Ok I have a stupid Idea/Question, not even sure if this is the right place to put it:
I want to play games, that do not support windowed mode via dxwnd (mostly because the menu is at a different resolution than the actual game).
So I found out that there is an option in the Nvidia control Panel under (Adjust desktop size and position → Scaling) called scaling mode, and you can set it to No scaling. This sets your resolution to a smaller size, but not as small as the menu regularly is, and gives a black border around it.
I was wondering, if I could set it up to not change the resolution at all, even at the risk of everything being so tiny that I cannot read it.
And yes yes, virtual machine would do this easier.
