Run 2400MHz Memory on Sabertooth z77?

Hey I would like to know if the 2400Mhz Kingston Hyper X Beast would run on the Sabertooth Z77 even though it is said that the sabertooth takes only up to 1866 .. would the mobo just downclock the ram??

going by this 1866 is the limit, but it shoud just downclock the ram

buy an msi mpower board if you want to fully utilize the memory.
