Kinda like skyrim and oblivion, but not them because I will mod them and my grades will go to crap. Basically I need to get my middle ages rpg(or even any genre) fix but I don't trust myself with games that can be modded like TES while I'm at uni.
Mount & Blade: Warband is probably a good option
Mount & Blade is good. Very mod friendly. They actually are working on a new one called Bannerlord that looks promising.
