Viper4android number one on the list besides the obvious stuff. The new ui for 7.0 is just sweet.
In my case I just stick to an older phone (i.e. SGS5) which its version of Android has been proven to already been rooted. If it's the latest phone you're looking for than patience is the key which is unfortunate. U just gotta keep your eyes peeled on sites like XDA if u have a particular current phone in mind.
