Risks of Watercooling

Can someone tell me the risks of watercooling? I'm kinda paranoid that the H55 that i'll order will leak out on me...

AIO watercooling is pretty safe.Just check the fittings to the cpu block and the radiator.  Also check the radiator for any holes or cracks.  I've built 15 computers with water cooling and never found a single problem.  I wouldn't suggest an H55, it's a bit weak for the price.  If you're going to buy a 120mm water cooler, i'd start with the H60 or H80, better coolers for the value, better fans, etc.

Do you recomend any 200mm Radiators? I'm pretty curious about them.

corsair H55 is a pretty old cooler now with quite outdated technology. i.e noisy/low rate pump. get the new corsair H60SE if youre just looking to keep your CPU cool at stock temps. H80i and above if you wanna do some overclocking.

also relax... even if it leaks (which the chances are pretty zero), modern mobos will just shut off if there is any contact with water or other liquids.

just make sure its all dry before starting it up again.

I got a h80i a cuple of days ago its a little niosy with its stock fans but its doing a fine job of cooling my FX8320.

The H40 H55 H60 are not worth it (the H80i was only £10 more than the H60 here and you get 2 fans for push pull and a much thicker radiator)

I will just get me some quiet noctua fans to fix the audable fan noise.

Try updating the firmware and software with the H80i, corsair fixed some of the noise issues with the update.
