hello all, just wanted to share with you how people who dont know what they are buying can get ripped off so much,
ok so i was at my friends house yesterday and was looking at his *gaming pc* he bought about 6-7 months ago, i was really annoyed at how much it cost, so the specs are
CPU-intel I5 2400 @3.1 Ghz
GPU- GTX 550 ti 1 gb
MOBO-some asus thingy didnt look too bad
PSU-some really cheap crap, i got g=him to replace it last month for an antec
CASE-some crap one-fan-no-thrills blue led shit
HDD-1TB
anyway i was so angry when i saw how much he had payed..900 euro (about 800pounds or $1000-1050) (shipping not included) also it was 100euro off....
this just goes to show what companies are like with pre-built pc, i know parts would have cost more last year but thats no excuse for the price, just wanted to show how some people can get ripped off,
and i want to know if anyone has any similar storys
thanks for reading
If you buy a PC prebuilt, either go for one of the major brands, Asus, Alienware, etc or go for something like Cyberpowerpc or PCspecialist...
i think he got it from custom pc, not sure of their reputation
Even if it costed more than wanted, the companies need to make a profit somehow.
lol yes thats intel in europe.....
if its inclusive monitor and keyboard/mouse, monitor is about 200 euro for a good 24 inch, and more.. sooo then the pc it self cost about 600/700 euro for the case and his parts, so its something to discuss about :)
no montior, keyboard or mouse...
wow yes then is to expensive :P
My AMD build Asus M5A97 evo FX8350 ms-tech Crow big tower, Enermax 750W naxn 80+ brons 16GB crosair vengence 1600mhz HiS Radeon 7870 gpu. cost me 805 euro´s
i build the pc my self, thats mostly a problem to shops asks much money to assembly, thats rediculious, eaven i can build a pc toghter and im a girl :P
yeah it really is to much, i would of build it for him but i was just getting into pcs and wouldn't of wanted to fuck anything up for him, thats a really nice build and the price makes it better xD
