Unfortunately I have not been able to purchase an iDefender so I have not looked into it further. I switched to Optical SPDIF and a different Panasonic Micro HiFi High Res audio system.
When I go for VFIO though, I will be using the U-22 again as a input source, and Zoom H5 as a USB DAC.
