Resources for Learning

Hey guys,

Do you know of any resources for learning about technology? Anything from networking to electronics. There are a million and one coding websites but from a quick Google, I wasn't able to find anything other than that.

I mainly want to learn networking. That's why I mentioned it. So yeah...

Thanks,

There are some interesting free courses at https://www.coursera.org/ you should take a look.

There are loads of free resources.. It all just depends on what specifically you want to learn.

https://www.coursera.org/ <-- Has classes, video lectures, quizzes

https://www.edx.org/ <--- Like coursera, but not as many classes. More interactive though

https://www.khanacademy.org/ <--- more general education stuff... but still worth mentioning

Youtube is also a plethora of information

https://www.youtube.com/user/UCBerkeley <--- TONS of video lectures from Berkeley.

https://www.youtube.com/user/thenewboston <--- Dude gets a lot of shit, but he's got a lot of good    programming courses

https://www.youtube.com/user/elithecomputerguy <--- Used to do networking tutorials. Has some that are still very nice. Now he does a daily tech talk show

https://www.youtube.com/user/professormesser <--- If you want CompTIA test training (A+, Sec+, networking+), this is the guy to go to

Searching pretty much any cert will yield a free video class

I'm learning Java from Codeacademy.org.

Thanks for the responses guys. I also posted this question on the OCAU forums. While I only got one response, I tried that one first. They suggested Microsoft Virtual Academy. Even though they pretty much focus on the applicable Microsoft products while they're teaching the content, the stuff they're teaching is good info. Here's a link to the OCAU post: http://forums.overclockers.com.au/showthread.php?t=1125229
