I recently booted into my LMDE partition in order to build and run some code, but the resolution was bothering me. I have a 1080p TV (Yes, tv), and when I used xrandr to change the resolution to 1080x1920, I got horrible scaling issues, as in it does not fill the screen, leaving about 2 inches of black bars on all sides. I had the same issue on windows before, but I was able to solve it with CCC (I have a 7950). I haven't been able to install ccc, because whenever I try to build a debian testing package it fails. Any suggestions?
No, I just typed it wrong into my post, I used exactly what xrandr listed.
