I told myself not to, but.. I bought the Xbox 360 version... and it's still as fun as ever.
5 was a Gears of War clone. Still, pretty god, though. Just not really Resident Evil-ish enough.

I honestly don't care what anyone says, I think every Resident Evil as a game, is awesome.
I even though 6 was pretty good, Leons campaign made me shit a couple bricks (I'm jumpy when it comes to games.)
Chris' campaign was just straight up fun, and had a sick ass story behind it. Pears in my mind went from being a kinda uptight cocky kid to a freaking badass.
I think the mechanics are kinda too fast paced set, but I mean it's nice everything flowing together so well.
But really I think alot of the hate is unessacary, I had fun playing it.
Resident Evil 5 was okay too, but I don't feel like covering it right now haha.
Resident Evil 1, RE 2, RE 3, RE Code Veronica X, RE Zero are outstanding. RE Survivor is also fun. The rest is crap. When I first played RE 4 I didn´t recognize the RE series anymore and I threw that piece of shit of an "RE game" in the trash. Watched RE 5 and got disappointed even more.
It´s like they´re trying to beat the movie series of Resident Evil in "who´s gonna come up with more BS".
BTW the movie series was and is a disaster. I can´t believe that they´ve got the rights / licence to call this Resident Evil.
My all time favourite game series is dead. RE 6, I don´t expect much, tbh.
