Request: Tech in Athletics/Fitness/Sports section of the forum

Just a request/recommendation.

Technology and data have secured a footing when it comes to health and fitness, and the amount of tech driven data analytics in athletics and sports (see: the US Ski team) is insane. It could be a place with sub-sections to talk about technology in sports (goal line tech in soccer, introduction of tech in football, stadium tech, athlete data collection), wearables (both consumer and professional), health and fitness (studies, recommendations, general chat), e-sports, and could have a general section for folks who just want to chat about sports and athletics.

Just a request. I have no clue how much use it would get in this community, but I know I would love it.

Premier League club Watford has a zero gravity machine for the players to use. It was shown in an episode of Behind The Badge. I forgot what it was used for.

Fencing also has a lot of technology.

Also having a general section to talk about sports would be cool. #gopackgo

That's awesome. Perhaps similar to pool rehabilitation for injuries?

Probably overcoming gravity.

Always important when on the pitch.
