Repurposing old parts

As part of craigslist trade I received the following parts. An AMD Athlon 64 4400 processor and a Asus A8n-Sli deluxe. I tested both parts to make sure they're both working and they are, my next dilemma is that I'm unsure if its worth putting money into to re-purpose into an HTPC or a low end gaming pc or to just sell it on Ebay. What are your opinions on what I should do with it, Any advice will be appreciated please and thanks!:D

Depends on what you need to do.  If you want an HTPC, you could probably get some decent performance using linux.  If you don't need an HTPC, you can sell it on ebay.
