I have some old render blade (2012?) with dual Xeon E5-2600(?) with 6 sata ports and 1 PCIe 3.0 x16
Motherboard is rather small x9drt-f
I’m thinking of doing something with it, put active coolers on CPUs and get rid of all screaming fans. Maybe a storage server but it only has 2x SATA-600 and 4xSATA-300, but it could be extended with PCIe 3.0 x16.
Is this worth doing? Any better ideas?
