ok thx I'll probably just go ahead and order that psu then after this last test fails which is just running the boot drive off a different sata port just to make sure it's not the mobo
Like I said, try the 1 dimm thing. It might still be bad ram.
I don't want to suggest buying a part that might not fix the problem is you haven't eliminated all other possibilities
Yeah I just finished testing the one ram thing and it crashed on both individual sticks so I'll just get that power supply

very likely it's a bad mobo, bad PSU or both.
