Replacement mouse for Logitech G500

After 5 years in active duty as my daily mouse, my G500 began to double click on the right mouse button. I dissasembled it to replace the switch, but in the process, I accidently broke the pcb on 3 places. I've tried solder them together again, but with no luck. So I guess I have to buy a new mouse. I really liked the G500, so I'm wondering what mice there are today that are the most like it? I can spend around 60 us dollars on a new one.

I'm not sure what kind of grip I use, but I beleive it's a palm grip. I also love the button to realese the scroll wheel, don't know if any mordern mice have that anymore? And the laset, oh my god, it's so exact!

The G500S is the direct replacement for the G500. $50 on Amazon.

Interesting, the top paint job looks horrible though and the shop were I planned to buy it from doesn't have it. (I got a gift card of about 50 dollars).

I have looked a little bit at the Logitech G402, don't know if it's any good?

I have a G500s and all I can say is that the paint won't last for 2 years at least. The left-click was a bit squeaky due to the plastic somehow, not the switch inside. But overall, it is a fair mouse.

I think I tried the G402 in a shop and its ergonomic was an improvement. Though if you really adore the frictionless scroll wheel to fly through the pages or inventory in a game, then it may not be for you. Not quite sure about its sensor though; whether it's optical or laser.
