Hi all!
I know i've been posting a lot in the last few days, but i've been having loads of problems moving to an SSD :P
I just had to run a boot repair on my SSD because all the boot files were still on my old Hard Disk, which prevented me from formatting it or booting the SSD without it, but now it has created 2 partitions, one from the 11GB of unallocated space and one for the boot files (100MB), and they're taking up space in the "My Computer" window, so i found a guide online, which shows how to remove drive letters from drives, to hide them in "My Computer". My question is, if i do this to the partition with the Boot Files, will i be unable to boot? I don't know if Drive Letters are just ways for Windows Explorer to look up the drives, or if they're needed for the core system to even recognize the partitions. If anyone could clear up this for me, i'd be grateful!
Thank you in advance!
