I'd like to know what's the performance like if I used the VPN TekSyndicate uses from outside US, I'm in Argentina (Around 150ms-220ms ping). I guess I'd need to turn the VPN off while playing, so, what's that like? is there an app or tray icon I should click to switch it on or off?

They don't seem to have a VPN node in south america yet, but it's really quick ping-wise here in Sweden since there is a good local node. I'm guessing that you would do best using one of the southern US nodes, and definitely turn it off while gaming. It's as easy as right-clicking on the icon in the system tray, or simply quitting the application when you want to turn the VPN off.
