Im looking at upgrading my system and part of this will be a new power supply, I dont have huge amounts to spend and I have seen some decent models on scan.co.uk at knock down prices because they are factory refurbished.
Does anyone have experience with a refurbished power supplies either from scan or other stores and is it worth the savings?
Factory refurbished? If so, that means the manufacturer themselves have inspected it, and they will also include a limited warranty as well (30 - 90 day typically) - they are practically new. Those refurbs are just fine, and are well worth the money.
If there aren't any details on who refurbished it, then I'd approach it with caution.
