Plans in the works and they aren't boasting a finished thing to be out too soon. If this was in september maybe a game out 2017? I want this to happen so badly.

Oh man I used to read those Brian Jaques books in middle school would be a great universe for a game!!!!
Scale is an issue though. They are reading all the books to make a map in minecraft as a sense of scale and they want to make they books a hundred or more hour game or MMO but not even the Abbey makes sense. In a book it does, in actual practice it doesn't.
Maybe they could break the game world down the same way they did it in Dragon Age using different separate explorable areas. This way they could hit a sense of scale without having to drown machine specs.
Very interesting. I remember my brother reading these when we were younger. There's quite a lot of books in the series now isn't there? As an end-user, its always nice when devs have a ton of backstory to draw from when designing things as long as it is done properly of course.
still got a signed copy of redwall and all the books. cant wait to play it and hope they dont mess it up.
I think it will be cool, but they have been talking about this for a long time with nothing shown in like 2 years. I know they are doing the minecraft thing.. but wouldn't it be more prudent to make a game then make a map? I know they have been asking for money, think there was a Kickstarter for it.
Looks like things could be going, with the update of "We are proud to announce that The highly respected Maclellan Foundation has agreed to support us and with their credibility came a bunch of other commitments. So within the space of a couple weeks we've seen our offering go from ~15% committed to > 80%. Interest is exploding, momentum is high."
However that was Feb of 2015..... also think they have yet to send some of the rewards.
I was excited for this when I saw the kickstarter but held off, I would love to see this as a game. I do not think this studio will be the one to bring it to market, . (I hope someone does, and does it justice) I just want to be a badger Lord of Salamandastron
