I have some pre-issued promo codes that I need to redeem into my PS4 console but it doesn’t work. I am actually travelling abroad so that might be the problem.
Do you guys know how to resolve it ?
Looks like it is. The games, physical, are not locked but the online stores and their PSN cards are according to reddit.

I’m not sure if its the same case but I found that some codes are only redeemable on certain store region. Maybe change your region to that of the code’s region?
Oh Yes. I am thinking to use a VPN to redirect back to my original location for availing PSN Gift Cards.
However, I don’t think it would be a good thing to do and I don’t wish to lose my account because of any invalid activity.
Im not sure if you need a VPN at all since I can access EU and JP PlayStation Store with my JP and EU accounts.
