Alright so I wrote this quite a while ago and it works pretty well, although I haven't tried two of the options for obvious reasons and I'll get to that later.
What it is:
Two versions of a script that has recovery and mainly items that are suggested upon new Linux installations.
The two versions are for debian based distros (or those that use apt-get) and one specifically targeted to the Kali distribution.
Here is the README file for ALL debian based linux distros (the Kali version has a little bit more features) -
PASTEBIN: http://pastebin.com/UCpYWvwy
Here are the DL Links -
ALL: http://www.mediafire.com/download/4f5gngovgtofh87/rsinstall-all.tar.gz
KALI: http://www.mediafire.com/download/xnxoryw6dnjvo0k/rsinstall-kali.tar.gz
I'm sure there will be some skeptics of my script and I assure you that you can feel free and look for anything malicious in the code. All of the code run is in the main "rsinstall" file.
EDIT: Copy and paste of the readme was all jumbled - added the pastebin link
