What recording software do you recommend?
so vague...what are you trying to record?
anything really, just want some suggestions to get me started
well i dont do much in way of audio so cant help there. if you wanna record things like games, you can use XSplit or OBS. there is also fraps but we dont talk about that. i think @Logan uses OBS for his screen capturing needs

OBS is what we all use at TekSyndicate for recording screen captures, including everything in The Tek is recorded via OBS.
We also use OBS to stream to twitch.tv and hitbox.tv.

Awesome, Dxtory is optional, but it solved a lot of issues with older versions of OBS. I haven't used it in a while.
