Ok so if i want to record 1080p videos with dxtory i get a really badframe rate in game ( whilst recording ) and the video file itself is choppy, i did the benchamrk and i record at 55 mb/sec :( i have an fx4100 and a gtx 550 ti.
basically what needs improving, am i right in saying get an ssd an record to it??
yeah dude ssd is the way to go, for what your doing i would reccomend the corsair neutron gtx impaticular as it excells in simultaneous read write operations over everything else on the market at the moment, but if you cant afford that go for anything BUT an OCZ ssd preferably intel, mushkin or kingston. also going to 8gigs of ram would help alot too. and go for the fastest ram your fx cpu can muster, but if your on a budget try not to go below 1600mhz sticks. keep in mind it depends what your recording, if its graphics card intensive and you only scratch say 30 to 24 frames when not recording dont expect amaizing frames while recording.
