Recommend me a 3x3 DP KVM

I’m looking for a KVM solution to clean up the spaghetti hell I’m currently living in since getting a new work laptop.

Here’s what I’m thinking. Bonus points if the KVM is rackable (or shelfable) in 1-2 U to keep most of the DP runs within a rack.

I’m not super familiar with the M3 Pro external monitor shenanigans, but AFAIK using a DisplayLink dock should get me 3 external displays of not high resolution or refresh rate.

Looks like the rent-payment-costing L1 4x4 KVM would do the job, with a decent amount of overkill. However at the same time there’s 3x3/4x3/3x4 DP KVMs on Amazon from random letters brands for like $100. What’s the deal with these? I don’t have 4K/high refresh rate/*Sync requirements. Would these cheaper ones do the job or would one expect a flakey experience?

cheaper ones are surprisingly good these days. tesmart is actually decent, some of the other cheaper ones are worse on the USB side but dp side is okay

Would it be insane to use a higher quality 4 pc x 1 DP KVM for the main monitor and USB, then a cheaper 2x2 for the additional monitors? Not as “elegant” as an all in one box solution, but for the server, I only ever need one monitor, and for the extra monitors I only would switch between two machines. Still leaves one input for the main display for a cheeky RPi or something.
