I have to build a low budget PC for graphic design (no games, no video editing), main programs that will be used include CorelDRAW, Photoshop, Illustrator. I was going to use a FX6300 CPU but I heard Intel is a much better performer specially in single core, so I was wondering what would you guys recommend that's on the same price range?
Doesn't really matter for most graphical design work you just want a decent amount of RAM and an SSD, the most important thing is going to be your display.
are you doing this professionally?
if so what budget and what country?
Not professionally, no, it's for a friend and I haven't talked about costs yet, but I think something between 600-800 USD, he already has a display.
I'm considering SAMSUNG 850 EVO 500GB as an SSD
I'm in Argentina.
Well there's a parts list anyways, should put the rest towards a 4k display, or just buy an entry level GPU at some point to do some basic gaming if that's ever going to be a thing

Thank you that's very helpful
If you can't find that particular board just make sure whatever board you buy has at least USB 3.1 and Type C so you're set for future phones and other devices, and make sure it has decent display output options, that one has VGA/HDMI and DVI so you could hook up practically anything to it,
I think this would be a great system for this price point:
(The GPU is additional, you donĀ“t really need it!)

The gpu will help in reducing the rendering times in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator if you use certain effects that use gpu rendering. As for the CPU I went with the i3 since you will get higher single core performance than going with an i5 but you can change that to an i5 if you can afford it which you will.
