Recommend a mouse

After botching an attempt at changing a microswitch on my g500 it is now time to go shopping for another mouse :(

Bit concerned about Logitech reputation for using cheap parts now so steering away (like my microswitch wore out), unless it has been improved with recent models.

I'm not a big gamer so wireless is an option and a million macro buttons are not required.
Also needs to be available to buy in UK at a somewhat flexible budget of £70.

Can you think of anything that matches these requirements:

  • Similar size/shape to g500
  • Decent dpi (I do not need more than 3 switchable options)
  • Colour is White/silver/lightish (I'm fussy about matching my white decor now :s)
  • Has thumb area buttons for back/forward/1 spare at least

  • Bonus stage:
  • Matching/similar KB available.
  • Wireless (super bonus it shares a point with a matching keyboard)

I have already shortlisted the Corsair M95 as a potential partner but wondering what else may come to mind.

Thanks for reading.

I've never heard of them...just a heads up!

Thanks for looking.

However these are a bit too 'boy racer' for my taste :)

I'm a current owner of the Corsair M65 and I think it applies to all your criteria except wireless. It's generally an FPS mouse but I find it works well with everything. Highly recommend it.

I have an m95 and I can 100% recommend it.

A white G600 might to nice too, but you are concerned with the build quality and the M95 feels like it's make out of cast iron.

Thanks for replying.

I did have a look at this but it didn't have the 3 extra button layout I wanted.

Hm seems the m95 is getting closer to my basket :)

I might get a RSI using the G600, looks too large for me haha.
