Receive notifications when i get text on my computer

I was wondering if anyone here knew of a good program that would let you see and respond to texts from my computer. Something like the old motorola chrome app that did that or like i message. I have an android phone and winderps on my tower. Thanks

There are different options available. Pushbullet is one of them but it's much more than just mirroring notifications to the desktop and requires a fee to use it to it's full potential.
Desktop Notifications is a pretty good app that shows notifications but requires Chrome to work.
If you're on KDE you can use KDE connect.
