This looks kinda cool… it seems to be mostly compatable with windows xp as of yet… I think it is currently just moved from alpha to beta.

I watched someone play with it on youtube a while ago. Druaga I think his channel was called. I dont know about now but when I was watching it, mostly compatable would be an extreme stretch. Unless they made some big improvements I would imagine that the same is true.
I haven’t tried it cause it’s been in Beta for 20 years… it’s a dead man’s project and it looks like it came out of Windows 95.
yeah i found Elementary OS way better for old hardware, I gave up on React OS after nothing worked properly at all
They’re talking about ReactOS 0.4.7 (even if we’re just Alpha)
also no news since december? I’d like to give this a go on spare machine I have but I dont want to install a dud

I’m tempted to play around with it in a VM. I’ll report my findings over the next couple days. I don’t really use Windows much though, so I probably wouldn’t be the best person to judge it.
