Re-setup water cooling HALP!

Hi, I was already running it for good 10-20 mintues until i realized I had my in/out on backwards from a DIY XSPC X20 750 2bay res. & AX360 combo kit. I added another custom radiator a 3x140 HTF4 on top on my case.

Anyways I only have barbs no compression and I have cheap vinyl tubing like the ones at the 'farm & fleet' 1/2" ID, 3/4" OD.

Because I have the inlet and outlet confused and backwards. The water is flowing reverse into  the CPU waterblock. Anyways I never taken down a custom water cooling yet, only AIO Kraken X60.

Any tips? Should I remove just the cpu water block keep tubing higher than the rest? Have another person plug the water with thumbs? Or throughly drain the system and swap the reservior inlet/outlet?

I don't quiet know what you mean, but if i understand correctly then can you not rotate the RES till upside down so that the place where flow in goes in the top like it should

so the water is flowing backwards through the loop?

As long as the pump is getting the coolant and not running dry and the liquid is being returned the res, in other words its making a complete loop, it can flow clockwise or counter clockwise it doesn't really matter. or at least it shouldn't unless your cpu water block has some weird design specifically optimized to go one way. check your temps as long as they are good, and the coolant is flowing through the loop.

If you do want to fix it your going to have to drain the loop and then fix it, sorry but their is nothing you can do with the coolant in the loop.

But don't hold me to any of this I know next to nothing about your waterblock. But you should be fine, it might run a little warmer, but it should make it to the first maintenance period. Like I said check you temps.
