Re-Building PC For Gaming

Hey guys, I am currently wanting to re-build my pc (its a crappy packard bell but im planning to essentially build a new one), I already have a graphics card (radeon 7850) and a dvd/cd drive and hard drive etc etc. but I need to upgrade my motherboard which uses DDR2 ram and is generally crap.

This is the parts list that I came up with: http://www.ebuyer.com/lists/list/36091

My budget max is £210 so I would really appreciate if you guys could make improvements to this. If you guys could find a better case that would be awesome, If you find another motherboard then please make sure it supports 32GB of ram and 2 pci express x16 slots.

If you could find a better intel option that would be awesome, but AMD is crazy cheap so I instantly went down that road.

Thanks Guys,

Have fun searching :D

why do you need 32 gb of ram?

In the future i am planning to have 32GB of ram in the system , I do a lot of multi-tasking and I have recently got into video editing.

i would get a dual channel kit of memory to start off with, using one dimm in a board that uses dual channel mem will cause a performance hit, and with the 32gb of ram idea i think it would be better for u to stop at 16 gb, not many programs are gonna make use of that much unless u do 3d modeling and the such. video editing is usually fine working with 16gb. however if u do want to use 32gb and u r gonna use windows 7 make sure u get the windows 7 pro 64 bit edition

Thanks for the memory advice, I am already have windows 7 ultimate 64 bit :) but i will also be dual booting with ubuntu 12.04 64bit and the ubuntu machine will really be my main OS after a few years hopefully (please valve!)

Edit:

I have updated the list with better dual channel 1866Mhz memory.

any more possible improvements guys?

Better motherboards so you'll be guaranteed of upgradability: Gigabyte GA-990FXA-D3 990FX or  Asrock 990FX Extreme3 .

Also, no reason anymore to get Piledriver. Get the new Vishera CPUs, they're faster, more power efficient, and more overclockability. Get the AMD FX-6300 , or at least an AMD FX-4300. The 6300, for only $10 more, is a better deal.

I know that case is great and all, but it's a bit small IMO. It can't fit a 7970 ( particularly an ASUS or Gigabyte one). So you'll be a bit limited in future upgradability options. If you want more options, a Cooler Master HAF 912 will fit a long card if you remove the modular drive bay. Or a Corsair 300R or 200R will fit them off the bat. More expensive though.

I have the 200r has alot of space for Long cards and the hardrive bay can be removed you need more space.

Here is my improved list: http://www.ebuyer.com/lists/list/101901 I have a really tight budget guys so I decided not to upgrade the motherboard or the cpu but i did upgrade the case and the RAM. Any more improvements on this would be greatly appreciated.
