Razer Surround Sound, do i need Kraken 7.1?

Hello there.
As I purchased my Razer Deathadder 2013 and registered an Account on Razer to use Razer Synapse I got at the next day an E-Mail from Razer including an Free Activation Code to their Razer Surround Sound which costs normaly about 15 USD.
I own a 6€ Stereo Headset and the Surround Sound made it sound so much better than REALTEK..
And now am asking my self before purchasing Kraken's : Should I buy their Kraken 7.1's or Kraken Pro's?
Kraken Pro's are STEREO and with the Surround Sound I think I would get the same thing..
But i don't know so I am asking here:
Should I buy the Kraken 7.1 or Kraken PRO ( Stereo ) and use the Surround Sound on them? Would it be the same thing?

PLEASE Do NOT comment stuff like DON'T pick Razer in Audio Products, Pick Sennheiser etc.
My friend is an Audiophile he has Sennheiser HD 800's which i do not like, my friend has the Kraken 7.1's with out a Sound Card in his PC which sounds better to me.

The best option is to get a unit that has large drivers(aka speakers) not several small ones.

Edit: looks like they are both that way, both have 40mm drivers not several small ones. at a glance they look like the same headset just marketed differently. if synapse works with the pro id get that one(cheaper) if not get the other one. but i am not a big headphone guy so idk if my opinion is valid.

just a side note the pro are analog where the 7.1 is usb(digital) and the pro have a 4 pole 3.5 meaning headphone and mic go thew one jack. might have an adapter in package might need to buy one.

Forgot to say.
Case Closed.
