You can get a copy of Razer's attempt at virtual surround for headphones for free now (usually 20$), with the option to donate towards Child's play. I haven't played around with it much yet, but so far I like it better than dolby headphone.¨

Just tried this software.
It's pretty horrid.
It makes youtube sound 5% nicer. That's the only thing I've used it for so far.
I dont know how that works.
Since the program emulated 7.1 surround, a feature that youtube doesnt support.
