Razer Naga Trouble

I recently bought razer naga mouse and when i attempted to start my pc it had gotten stuck at the motherboard screen. When i unplugged the naga and plugged in my old mouse i was able to succesfuly start my pc. Any ideas why my naga caused this?

Was this the first time you were using the mouse? On their own website they say

"Razer Synapse 2.0 registration (requiring a valid e-mail), software download, license acceptance, and internet connection needed to activate full features of product and for software updates. After activation, full features are available in optional offline mode."

Basically you have to set up your mouse while you are online, that way they will be able to register you and you can use it to your hearts content.

Also the drivers for the mouse are probably not installed.

I'd try enahs' suggestion first and plug the mouse in when your PC is turned on to make you you get the drivers installed. The mouse will work work without drives though which is puzzling.
The only other thing I can think of that might be causing it is the Naga being recognised as a keyboard rather than a mouse so maybe using a different usb port would help.

i never used the naga but i am not happy with my use of razer i switched to the steele series sensei

Thanks for the helps guys but unfortunately none of your suggestings helped. So I went ahead and returned the naga and ordered a G600
