I recently bought a pair of Razer kraken 7.1 headphones/headset as it was on sale at £60 but i was wondering if when I get the ps4 ( few days) will they be compatible. I dont think they will be but it would be ace if they were. any help is appreciated
No I don't believe it is compatible, it's a matter of Razer only making software/drivers for it to work on PC.
thanks i know theyre are ways around it to get it to work with ps3 as ive managed that but i just wanted to make sure.
You should try them before you buy anything else... while its true its unlikely there will be a official Razer driver for the PS4, if it works on the PS3 then there is a large chance the generic driver on the PS4 will handle them fine.
They work in stereo not in 7.1. I use the chroma ones and they sound fine
