the msi ge40 has the same specs for $600 less. The APU's are a bit heavy for college. Personally I'm thinking about getting a light ultrabook like the samsung series 9 and just using my desktop for gaming.
your right, i can probably get an ultra book around $700, then probably build a desktop for $1000. all for cheaper than the blade. my only concern with that is that i would probably need to upgrade it in 3 years to keep up with everything.
Sagers got me thinking about getting one of them. The 780m looks tempting but the only thing holding me back is the look. They look kinda old fashioned compared to todays laptop/ultrabook, specially compared to the Razer. Im still doing a little more research.
It has a I7 3630QM @ 2.40GHz and a Geforce GTX 675m +120gb SSD and other stuffs
If you are interested, I can do a little review on it and benchmark some games. Just give me a list of games that you want to see and if I have them, I'll do them!
The sager np7330 has the same specs, and has a 1080p aas screen(like ips) razer kinda lied when they said they only has 900p ips screens and that the 1080p ips small screens had 30m that is a quote from the ceo on facebook
the thing with the blade is that it has an ok gpu, but packs it in a small case. If i were to get a sager, i would probably go for a better gpu because there would be no point for me to stick with the gtx765m since im basically choosing performance over looks.
I tried looking for it on the sager website, but i think they dont sell that anymore, i found some on ebay though. I wouldn't want to trouble you with benchmarks, i found a bunch on youtube and online. I would be more interested on the problems you have had with sagers, if any. Things like, maybe over heating, faulty keys, hinges becoming loose, and maybe a drop test? Lol jk on the drop test. do you think it would last more that 7years?
