Raven RV04, any opinions?

I didn't think much of it at first, with the inverted motherboard, only 3 fan mounts, right hand side window and the strange looking aesthetics on front and top. But the more I thought about it, the more I thought it could make an interesting case.

Anandtech's review ( http://www.anandtech.com/show/7084/silverstone-raven-rv04-case-review )  was not exactly glowing, but I do not share most of the concerns the reviewer had. And those cooling test results are really impressive.

Most comments I've seen so far are deriding it for lack of water cooling options, but I really don't think every case needs to cater to that.

I've been looking into upgrading my case (Silverstone RL01) as I bought it on a very limited budget and it's not ideal.

I have been looking at the Corsair C70 ($160) and the Arc Midi r2 ($150).

The RV04 is $170, I consider these three cases in similar price brackets, and about the upper limit of what I would spend on a case. I'd like to see some more reviews, but I think this could be a pretty good option.

I love the Raven series of cases, personally.

Look into the Corsair 650D, as well. It is a nice little case.

It is, but it's pushing $200 here in Australia, so I ruled it out early on. And at 545mm lengthwise, it would be a very tight fit into my PC space.

I was just thinking, the airflow in the RV04 may not play well with custom GPU coolers. I understand it works better with reference design blowers. That's a shame, but still not a deal breaker.
