What do you guys think of this build, i finally got back home from vaca and im planning to order today

http://pcpartpicker.com/parts/partlist/

Looks great! Because I made it.

You included the worng link ;) That one points to whatever you made on your computer, so the rig I most recently made, and is saved in my cookies, shows up. You want the link that is a jumble of numbers and letters, a little bit down the page.

And, I saw that, RagingHavok. You went full derp. Never go full derp.

I was about to say they same it brought me to a the build it made earlier to day because of the link lol

lmfao sorry about that guys, im a little excited

840 Evo is a tlc drive, its performance might be the same as an mlc drive but the reliablity isn't.Get the 840 pro.

You could also consider filling the r2 with 120mm fans instead of supplied ones + 200mm at top.

Get a better brand psu if possible.

WD blacks are noisy, beware.Their performance is very good tho.

Good choice on cooler and cpu.

Sabertooth armor thingy increases mobo temperatures. You might want to look for another mobo or run it without the armor thing.

i cant do the 840 pro its too expensive, i was debating whether to get the 840 reg or kingston hyperx but then saw the evo... so would you recommend the 840 or kingston?

the 200mm fan is going to be on the the top of the r2, this is the exact fan http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835233047 and ill switch out the stock ones eventually thats just a job for another day

if anyone can find me a better brand psu for 85 ill be happy to change

also  this savertooth doesnt have the tuf armor, im not sure but i think that its is z87 exclusive (i was going to do a haswell build at first)

just go for the normal 840 and also get a 1tb caviar black or caviar blue you will want the space.  Other then that it looks like a beast of a system with quailty parts the only thing I would change would be the HDD and maybe 16gb of 1866 ram but its not needed the 8gb kit you selected will work great.

get a fx 6300 it's $110 on newegg and ends today

As you should be. $1450 will get you a lot of PC. BUT, you can get a lot more than what you have right now.

First of all, a 750W PSU could power two more 7970s in that rig. Do you plan on getting two more 7970s? If so, and it will be soon, stick witha  750W, but if not, drop to a 450 or below, that way, you get ideal efficiency, and save money. I'd get a Seasonic G 360 or 450 for a single GPU, and a Lepa G 650 for dual GPUs, even though a 550 would do just fine for two GPUs. The G series have a great efficiency, and tight ripple, for the price. Fantastic units, would use them in a heart beat.

Overrated, highly overpriced motherboard. The Sabertooth has nothing special about it for that price. The PCIe 3.0 slots are meaningless, because the 8350 doesn't even have PCIe 3.0 (don't worry, doesn't matter). For less money, you can get the Gigabyte 990FX UD5, which looks better (personal opinion), but has a stronger, better VRM, and overall, higher quality parts and more features, especially for overclocking.

Great choice of CPU cooler. No complaints there.

RAM is great, too. You could fit a 16GB kit in there, but you don't need it.

That 200mm fan is terrible. Don't get it, it's made of twigs and popcorn. Waste of $20.

By switching what I mentioned earlier, you have enough room for a better storage steup. Twice as much SSD, and an equivalent 1TB HDD. Great stuff, the 840 Evo, which you had before, despite being TLC, is just as good as the MLC in terms of quality and performance on teh Evo. Very fast, great price at larger capacities. With some more moving around, such as getting a 7950, you could easily get a 500GB SSD, which would eliminate the HDD speed loss, and lack of reliability. Just a thought.

Here is what I came up with: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1uHHb

Use it, if you like, or just take some things into consideration.

thanks man i appreciate it, i dont need the extra space ill probably have more than 300 gb left over on the 500gb anyways but i actually have 2133 ram thats on sale and is cheaper than the 1866 but i couldnt find it on pcpartpicker its there on newegg if anyone needs it.

Also do you guys think i should swap the rosewill psu?

Rosewill is one of the best PSU "brands" in terms of the quality of the OEM they use. Get your head out of your ass if you say oanything otherwise, Mr. "Only trust Seasonic, Enermax, and SuperFlowerPower". There are hundreds of OEMs out there, you happen to know three of the most popular good ones. Doesn't mean that you can use those 3 brands to guide PSU choices; brands mean nothing.

No, not at all. Read my posts below. I would still change the PSU, but not because the Rosewill is in any way bad, but because it is too large in terms of wattage capacity.

Hey that was my bulid that i made for the other guy!

Ohh now i see silly me.

@Cino use the link i have on like the my 2nd post

Could you guys recommend a 200mm fan from newegg? or any fan that would  benefit (under $20)

Brennan, I used you're usual combination of the Noctua's plus Phanteks.

The motherboard will suite your needs. SLI/CF. 6 + 2 powerphase is good for overclocking.

And IMHO, I would be quite a bit wary putting a 360W PSU in a build like this.

Sadly, there are no good 200mm fans. The best large fan out there is the Silverstone AP182, but 200 and 230mm fans aren't good, as of now.

You can be as doubtful as you want, 360W will power that rig with OCs. I am willing to bet you my 680 that it would.

I know it can power it. But it has bare minimum upgradeability.
