Well I had an FX8150 and it was slower than the prevouse Overclocked Phenom 1090t I had before.... Game performance suffered, losing 20% fps on ArmA (Dayz)

Sometimes a benchmark can tell you what you need to know. Cinebench is a good one for CPU's.
