Been playing around with Jellyfin/docker etc. on a raspberry pi 4.
Runs like a dream seeing i have a 8gb raspberrypi 4 8gb running jellyfin, and a smb share (more to come), all in docker, and natively etc.
but for the love of me, i cannot get H265 decoding to run, from what i read, it is all about licenses, and jellyfin(darn dem capitalists), which would mean even rasp 5, would not decode h265, or am i doing something wrong?.
H.264 runs like a dream, and TBH not much of a difference, but 265, got to be better then 264(ofc im kidding, but i really just wanna figure this out, it is redicules).
if i decode 265 at dvd quality it uses ~100% cpu usage, which obviously stops 1080p playback. 264 ~10% and works perfectly at 1080, without even breaking a sweat.
